Shah expressed confidence that the government’s decisions would provide a substantial economic boost and strengthen India’s diplomatic presence in the years to come.
The Home Minister also highlighted the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, stating that by January 2024, the grand temple will be home to Lord Ram after 550 years.
He discussed various infrastructure projects, such as the Kashi Vishwanath corridor in Varanasi, the Mahakal Lok corridor in Ujjain, the Kartarpur Sahib corridor between India and Pakistan, and the inauguration of the Mata Sharda Devi temple in Kashmir, among others.
Shah contended that these nine years represented a “cultural renaissance” for India, with an emphasis on promoting yoga and Ayurveda.
He commended Prime Minister Modi’s efforts in fostering cultural unity through events like the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam, Kashi-Telugu Sangamam, and Saurashtra-Tamil Sangamam.
Furthermore, Shah mentioned the installation of the ‘Sengol,’ a historical scepter from Tamil Nadu, in the new Parliament building, noting that these initiatives have greatly accelerated the cultural and spiritual transformation of the nation.
Shah acknowledged his visit’s purpose, which was to honor the invitation of Mahant Balak Nath Yogi and pay tribute to the late BJP leader and MP Chand Nath.
He recalled his association with Chand Nath during their respective roles in politics and highlighted Chand Nath’s belief in achieving seemingly impossible tasks through unwavering efforts.
The Home Minister praised the Nath sect for its contributions across various domains, including education and institutions.
He also commended the Indian contingent’s performance at the Asian Games in China, highlighting the country’s significant achievements in sports since 2014. Shah attributed this progress to the Modi government’s commitment to promoting sports, from scouting talent at the grassroots level to providing coaching, training, and proper nutrition.
