Venkat Raman, the estranged husband of Suchana Seth, the AI start-up CEO accused of killing her four-year-old child, appeared before the Calangute police in Goa on Saturday as part of the investigation, an official confirmed.

As per the police, Seth is alleged to have smothered her son to death in a service apartment in Candolim, north Goa. She then reportedly packed his body in a bag and took a taxi to return to Bengaluru but was apprehended midway on January 8 in Chitradurga, Karnataka.
The accused’s husband, Venkat Raman, arrived from Bengaluru in the afternoon and reached the Calangute police station. The official stated, “We will be recording his statement in the case as part of the probe.” Notably, Raman was in Jakarta, Indonesia, when the murder occurred.
Police investigations suggest that initially, the woman smothered her son to death before attempting suicide by slashing her wrist.
