PM Narendra Modi hails election results as a victory for ‘Aatmanirbharta,’ criticizes opposition’s push for caste census

PM Modi describes the election results as “historic and unprecedented,” declaring it a victory for ‘Aatmanirbharta’ (self-reliance).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared the assembly election results a triumph for ‘Aatmanirbharta’ (self-reliance) and ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’ (together with everyone, development for all).

Speaking to enthusiastic party workers at the BJP headquarters in the national capital, he characterized the victory as historic and unprecedented, emphasizing it as a success for unity and self-reliant India.

Taking a swipe at the opposition’s push for a caste census, PM Modi asserted that various attempts were made to divide the country along caste lines.

He reiterated his belief that the only castes in the country are women, youth, the poor, and farmers, emphasizing that empowering these groups would strengthen the nation.

“I have always maintained that for me, four castes are supreme – women power, youth, farmers, and the poor. Empowering these four will strengthen the country,” he affirmed.

The Bharatiya Janata Party achieved a decisive victory in the heartland states, surpassing the Congress party in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.
