Darbhanga clone special train will not touch AYC stations

In a rare turn of events, the Indian Railways has announced a temporary diversion for train number 09465 – the Darbhanga Clone Special, scheduled for the 19th of January 2024. This deviation in its usual route is attributed to the grand inauguration ceremony of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir that took place on the 22nd of January, 2024.

The decision to alter the train’s path is a testament to the meticulous planning required to manage large-scale events and ensure the safety and efficiency of railway operations.

Details of the Darbhanga Clone Special:

The Darbhanga Clone Special (Train No. 09465) is a significant train connecting various regions, facilitating passenger travel and transportation of goods. With its origin in Darbhanga, Bihar, this train plays an important role in linking different parts of the country.

However, due to the momentous Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration, the railway authorities have deemed it necessary to divert the usual route of this special train. The altered path will take it through Lucknow (LKO) and Shahganj (SHG), bypassing the normal stations along the Ayodhya (AYC) route.
